Barbara Shafer's large-scale paintings of dancers study the relationships between three-dimensional forms and two-dimensional shapes and about the experience of drawing and painting. Based in the cyclical nature of the seasons, Debra D'Souza paints botanically derived images in oil and watercolors, all in minute detail. An artists' reception will be held in conjunction with the le phillips memorial library's gallery on thursday, may 5th from 6 - 7:30pm.
