Where: L.E. Phillips Memorial Library, 400 Eau Claire Street, Eau Claire Eric Lee will feature his most recent mixed-process paintings, as well as those of the past three years. Known for his use of non-traditional materials and large scale, this will be the most complete showing of Eric's work to date. This same work was featured during the 2009 Gallery Nights in Madison at State Street Gallery, and includes the 20 ft. multi-panel project, Building and Unbuilding the Globe. Jason Lanka in UWEC's new Assistant Professor in Sculpture. His work considers the space at which our culture comes in contact with the environment, and the nature of how our society defines its role and place within the natural world. Jason works with a variety of materials, including woods and metals. Take this opportunity to see the excellent work of one of Eau Claire's newest artists.
