This four session Renewing Life Sampler is open to participants who want to make the most out of life when living with a life threating or chronic physical illness. Renewing Life opens participants to practical ways to participate in and support their own healing. The program is composed of exercises, meditations and group discussions that foster the release of energy draining beliefs and develop energy supporting relationships. It teaches how to become an active agent in the healing process, and take a more active role in supporting medical treatement. It helps the individual develop the skills needed to communicate more effectively with themselves and significant others. It teaches stress management techniques. It makes one aware of the mind/body connection and how it affects illness and healing. It helps develop more individual problem solving skills and effectively utilize your peer support group.You will learn a wellness lifestyle that includes a purpose for life, a deep satisfaction for living, and a sense of joy. It helps you not just survive but to live your life with life affirming attitudes and meet your goals enhancing your quality of life.
