Charter Bank - Announces the Promotion of Paul D. Kohler

Charter Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Paul Kohler to President of Charter Bank. He was also elected to the bank's Board of Directors; Paul has been with Charter Bank for over 14 years, most recently serving as Executive Vice President. Dean Olson will continue to serve as Chief Executive Officer of Charter Bank.

Raul is very active in the Eau Claire community, currently serving on the boards of junior Achievement, United Way, and the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce. He has also served on the boards of the Community Table and the Chippewa Valley Boy Scouts. Paul is a member of the Eau Claire Noon Lions club, and the Chippewa Valley Bankers Association. He is a past president of both organizations.

In addition, he sits on the advisory committee for the Wisconsin Youth Success Program. Paul has also coached youth sports for many years in Eau Claire. Paul graduated from UW-Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a comprehensive major in Finance, He has recently been awarded a Professional Master of Banking degree From the Academy of Professional Banking. Paul his wife, Karen, and their three daughters reside in Eau Claire.
