Eau Claire WI Eau Claire is home to almost 40 parks and neighborhood playgrounds. The tennis courts are lit both at Owen and at Carson Park, which is ample opportunity for both active and quiet times. Owen Park, Riverview Park and Rod and Gun Park all provide getaways for residents and visitors and add to the quality of life of Eau Claire throughout the year. This 11-acre park borders the Chippewa River on First Avenue between Lake and Water streets. The park has a band shell, a children's playground and two lighted tennis courts. During the summer months the Parks and Recreation Department sponsors family movies and municipal band concerts at Owen Park. Owen Park also provides access to the Chippewa River Recreation Trail. Owen Park, along the Chippewa River is the home to a large band shell where open air concerts are held throughout the summer. It Park is a great place to relax or play! Here you can find playground equipment, tennis courts, and picnic areas. Bark in the Owen Park Outdoor is an 8 week course of basic commands, including clicker basics, foundations for training, focus, come when called, sit, down, stay, walk politely on leash, and greet people and pets politely. The Eau Claire Horseshoe Club with pitching on four courts at Owen Park has grown from 12 courts to its present number of 18. The clay courts are well lighted; there are bleachers for spectators and a clubhouse used as a refreshment and food stand facility during tournaments.
