|Coon Fork County Park|
Facilities include Camping, nature trails, snowmobiling, picnicking, picnic shelters, swimming, canoeing, fishing, boat landing, playground, drinking water, cross country skiing, concessions, pit toilets, flush toilets, electric sites, and canoe / boat rental.
Visit this lake area for 3.2 miles of wooded, hilly cross country skiing, Electrical and Water Systems; Accessible Picnic Tables and Benches; Aesthetic Screeenings and Tree Plantings; Mountian Bike Trail; grills, hiking etc.
The campground is located on the east side of Coon Fork Lake, and is for use by registered campers and their guests. Currently camping fees are charged from May 1 to September15. Facilities include: a boat landing (only electric trolling motors are allowed on the lake); dumping station; a swimming beach; volleyball court; playgrounds; toilet facilities; water pumps; two shower buildings; hiking trails, and boat and canoe rentals.
There is a total of 88 campsites in loops A, B, and C. Of those 44 are reservable (5 barrier-free with electricity, 8 lakeside, 22 electric, 9 non-electric) and 44 non-reservable (10 electric, 16 lakeside, and 18 non reservable). Each campsite is provided with a picnic table, trash bag, fire ring, and bench. Check out time for all campsites is 3:00 p.m.
While the Eau Claire county forest is open for horseback riding, horses are not allowed in county parks with the only exception being a horse hitching area at the Coon Fork dayside. Two signed riding trails are in the forest, one east of Lake Eau Claire off CTH G and the other in a portion of Tower Ridge Recreation Area.
Applications must be submitted to the Eau Claire County Parks & Forest Department at 227 1st Street West, Altoona WI 54720, and must arrive or be postmarked at least 10 days before the first night of the reservation. Reservations can be made in person or by mail.
Applications will only be accepted for a minimum of two nights. The maximum length of stay is fourteen consecutive nights. The county does not require occupancy at anytime. The parks and forest department reserves the right to change the assignment of sites as necessary.
The person to whom the campsite is registered will be held accountable for any violation that occurs at their campsite.

From Augusta go 1 mile east on US HWY 12 then left onto CTH CF 5 miles to the park. The park is approximately 30 miles from Eau Claire. Hwy 53 N. to Hwy 12 E. Approx 30 miles. Left on County Hwy CF.
