Tower Ridge Ski TrailLargest 15 miles of cross-country skiing on a groomed, flat or hilly and open track in both Eau Claire County and in west central Wisconsin, disc golf, hiking trails and pit toilets can all be found here. ACTIVITIES:
Tower Ridge Ski Trail passesDaily/annual vehicle entrance passes are required for the following ski trails and are separate from the Tower Ridge Winter Recreation pass.15 miles of trails, including beginner, intermediate and expert. Striding and skating. Daily or Seasonal trail passes available. Cost: $3 for a day-pass. $15 (I think) for a season-pass. Walking over natural wonderlandThe walk is really easy and there are different routes to take, take a walk and lose you in this breath taking natural wonderland. GolfTower Ridge Country Club or at nearby golf courses, usually offered at a discount from the normal rate. Disc golf course is heavily wooded with many elevation changes. Long, narrow fairways provide challenge. It offers tight fairways, lots of elevation changes, and lots of places to lose a disc. Each hole has multiple tees. The short tees play par 63. If you're short on time, you can play 9 holes. Just take the detour after hole 5. Great trails--hills and flats--for all levels. Groomed for both classical and skating. There are about 3km of lighted trails. Find an excellent facility, plenty of snow, warming shelter and great grooming throughout. Horseback ridingWhile the Eau Claire county forest is open for horseback riding, horses are not allowed in county parks with the only exception being a horse hitching area at the Coon Fork dayside. Two signed riding trails are in the forest, one east of Lake Eau Claire off CTH G and the other in a portion of Tower Ridge Recreation Area.
