In the park’s cross country trails visitors get shoveling, snow blowing and getting stuck in the snow and groomed here. Oak ridges, pine stands, the Eau Claire River, and rolling farmland are among the variety of terrain the trail crosses. Parking lots to gain access to the county-wide trail are located off County Trunk Highway "G," just five miles east of US 27, and at the Seymour Town Hall, just three miles east of Eau Claire. Snowshoe Trails are designated snowshoe trails on county land. These include Lowes Creek Park and Tower Ridge Recreation Area (adjacent to, but separate from the cross-country ski trails at these two ski areas), and at the Guettinger Woods and Wildlife Area on Sandberg Road, off CTH 37, in the town of Brunswick approximately 7 miles south of the city of Eau Claire. There are currently one hundred eighty-one miles of snowmobile trail in the county. A small portion of this total is actually on county forestland. The majority of this trail, which crosses the county, is on private land through land use agreements with the county as the primary sponsor of the snowmobile program. Contact Info:
