About Carson Park Baseball Stadium:

Carson Park Baseball Stadium has been the home of the Eau Claire Cavaliers since 1971. The stadium is also used by the local high schools, American Legion and other youth and amateur baseball programs and has been the site of many states, regional and national tournaments over the years. Since the end of the 1996 season, a major renovation project has been underway on the stadium.

The first two plaques for an outdoor Eau Claire Baseball Hall of Fame have been ordered, and construction of the memorial near the Henry Aaron statue outside Carson Park should come together in mid-July. The nonprofit Eau Claire Baseball History Committee, which has been working on the project for about two years, plans to spend about $35,000 this year to get the work started.

This is one of the more unique parks in baseball. It's located smack-dab in the middle of a large city park that includes hiking trails, a logging exhibit and horseshoe pits. You can imagine spending the entire day taking in the pleasures of the park and then hitting the ballpark for a night game.
