Each year over 100,000 fans visit the natural amphitheater and enjoy outdoor music from over 20 national and regional performers, great food, camping, and fun with friends old and new. The festival site, located just a short 30-minute drive from Eau Claire, features over 7,000 campsites adjacent to the concert grounds, hot showers, food and novelty vendors, security and a 24-hour convenience store. Over thousands of people attend this music festival that was started in 1987. There have been numerous famous artists that have performed at Country Fest that include; Keith Urban, Sugarland, Kenny Chesney, Brooks and Dunn , Trace Adkins, Blake Shelton, and Carrie Underwood. Held on a 160-acre farm in rural Cadott, Country Fest dates back to 1986 and has truly become an annual social event, with thousands of people buying passes for the entire 4-day event and spending their nights in the surrounding campgrounds. Great camping right next to the concert area, natural sloping hill up away from the stage that creates an amphitheater setting, showers, dumping, concessions, huge permanent stage. Country Fest brings the best of country music to the Chippewa Valley! The outdoor amphitheater is equipped with an outstanding sound system, giant screens, and 8,000 campsites walking distance to the concert area. This is your chance to score some really cool stuff, from the premier Country Music Festival in the Nation. Country music has evolved in a unique way over the past century. While country music has a respectively solid form, musicians have found new and interesting ways of integrating today’s pop culture and many other forms of vocal and instrumental styles into their own music. Festival brings in concert-goers from all around the globe to hear and see their favorite artists in cheese country. Country Fest's VIP seats offer up-close views of acts, lunches, dinners and free beverages, including wine spritzers and tap beer. There also is a cash bar for those seeking cocktails. The VIP area also offers a tented area for protection from the elements, whether it's the heat or rain, and easy access to indoor plumbing. Check out pics of them hanging with the stars, strutting’ their stuff, partying on the bus and (in Todd’s case), even sleeping! While you're visiting The Chippewa Valley, tune in the area's Official Country Fest Station at 95.1 FM. Camping at the Country Fest |
