The festival site, located just a short 30-minute drive from Eau Claire, features over 7,000 campsites adjacent to the concert grounds, hot showers, food and novelty vendors, security and a 24-hour convenience store. Past performers include: Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ TOP, The Beach Boys, The Pretenders, Boston, Eddie Money, Alice Cooper, The Steve Miller Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd and the big-hair bands of the '80s including Motley Crue and KISS and more! Rock Fest is the best rock festival to be had in the Midwest. Ever since it's inception in 1994 Rock Fest has grown significantly every year. Every year the party gets bigger and the campsites get just a little bit crazier. No matter where in the U.S. you live making the excursion to Cadott is well worth the trip! Campsite at the fest:The Rock Fest grounds feature a large stage with a huge viewing area and lots of nearby camping for those who want to spend the whole weekend onsite. It's a great opportunity to sit side-stage and watch a great rock show. You can purchase campsite at the fest for $50.00 per night. It is good for that 1 night only and you need to be out by 10:00 am the next day. Enter at Gate 20 (which is the furthest entrance to the west) and purchase the 1 night campsite there. There are also all sorts of rocks that are a site to see when in the city. Something that is very special to Cadott Wisconsin is that they possibly have the only remaining wooden butter churn. It might not seem like anything special, but to the older clubs and organizations in Wisconsin, it is. Cadott Wisconsin is very big on music festivals. They have two very popular music festivals during the summertime, which people from all over the Midwest attend. One of the festivals is called the Country Music Festival that features very famous country singers. This Sixth annual four-day event held on the beautiful Chippewa Valley Music Festival Grounds in rural Cadott, features The Best Rock Bands of the 70's, 80's and today.
