The museum consists of 2 buildings located in Riverview Park grounds. The museum has become the meeting place for people interested in researching local history and gathering records and artifacts from the Cadott area. A rural school museum is just across highway 27, and a life-size statue of Frenchman, Jean-Baptiste Cadott (village namesake) is located there. The Half-way between the Equator and North Pole logo sign, Cadott's trademark is also just across the road. Picnic tables, playground equipment, tennis courts a swimming area, a baseball field and shelters are provided. In northwestern Wisconsin, the Cadott Area Historical Society has focused on local family stories by collecting 100 oral histories from local residents. There is also a collection of photographs of everyone over 90. Atlases, Sagas (the Cadott High School year book), family histories and obituaries, scrapbooks, assorted pictures, and resource books are available in the museum to aid in research of genealogies or just to enjoy.Visiting hours:

Main Street. Over 85 titles covering current events, science, popular culture, fashion, and special interests. Wide variety of VHS and DVDs including feature films for all ages, old classics, and educational videos.
