In 1930 Clarence J. Wipfli & Company was established in Wausau, Wisconsin. Clarence founded the company with a clear vision for bringing his values to his business.

Twelve years later John Ullrich joined him to form Wipfli, Ullrich & Company.Since that time, the firm has drastically grown, organically as well as through acquisitions, to be one of the largest CPA and consulting firms in the United States, with offices across Wisconsin and Minnesota - and in India, too. The firm has also become an integral part of PKF NA, one of the largest global networks of accounting firms in the world.
