Lakeshore Elementary School, Eau Claire, WI

Lakeshore Elementary School is dedicated to providing every student with an array of learning experiences to help prepare each individual to become a productive member of society. They are very lucky to have three large support systems for their students. First, their highly qualified staff is able to provide a variety of unique learning experiences that help to meet the needs of their diverse population of students.

Their teachers and support staff have specialized training in all content areas to provide a well rounded curriculum. Second, their Parent / Teacher Organization (PTO) goes above and beyond to provide such things as their annual book fair. That fundraising effort supports several field trips for their students. Third, the partner with the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in a variety of ways to enrich the experiences of their students and support their local community. They have nearly 100 UW-EC education majors in their school annually to support their students.
