North High School is one of two public high schools in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. It has a student body of about 1,700. North's course offerings include five foreign languages and several Advanced Placement courses. It also has a foreign exchange program. The high school assistant principals are Amy Zais, Sue Kern, and Darrell Kluck, and the Student Representative to the Eau Claire Area School District Board of Education is Joe Luginbill.
Teaching and learning is a cooperative process enhanced by strong relationships. Their faculty and staff pride themselves on making significant and lasting connections with their students. They offer a comprehensive array of academic and co-curricular opportunities for students to be challenged and explore interests. Their staff is dedicated to helping students succeed academically and works tirelessly toward this end. They also understand that success as students and ultimately as citizens requires more than a strict emphasis on the three “R’s”. Their staff strives to promote and model respectful and responsible behaviors.
