The Flying Eagles Ski Club has a long tradition in the Chippewa valley. The club was established in 1933 and is one of the longest running junior clubs in the state. Its mission is to promote the Nordic sports of Ski Jumping and Cross Country Sking. We offer a healthy alternative to overly competitive sports with a family atmoshpere and work to provide the safest means for our youth to excel. The club is open to all children up to the age of 18.
The Flying Eagles make their home at the Mt Washington Nordic Sports Center, where the club is currently undergoing a major renovation project to replace the outdated 5, 10, 20 and 40 meter hills with new modern designed 7, 15, 30 and 50 meter jumps. Check out our Renovation page for more information. Besides the jumps, Mt Washington also has a chalet to prepare & warm up in.
