Welcome to the Eau Claire Curling Club! They have been in Eau Claire since 1955. They were originally located at the Eau Claire County Fairgrounds behind Mega-Pick 'n Save and moved to the present location 40 years later in 1995. This facility can now host all United States Curling Association events because of the size and number of sheets of ice.
They host bonspiels (tournaments) for teams from across Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Canada. They have had several individuals compete for State and National Championships and one of our members competed at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan. Although curling can be very competitive, like golf it has the majority of participants in the "average" range of skill level. It is a sport that all ages can play. Their membership list includes people as young as six and as old as eighty. Please consider curling as a winter activity. The game is exciting, challenging, fun, and inexpensive.
